Aaron Huey is a National Geographic photographer and Explorer, a three time Stanford Fellow, and Founder + Creative Director of Amplifier.org. Aaron reached out to me back in 2015 about starting some kind of collaboration together. That begun as a series of photographs out in wilds of the Salton Sea desert, then some years of back and forth daydreams, and morphed into the book project we are currently working on together titled ‘SHELTER.’
