Lauren napolitano
Lauren Napolitano is a self-taught contemporary folk artist, born in California and currently based in Austin, TX. She works in ceramic, painting, murals + public based art, tattooing, and illustration, with most of these processes inspired by ancestry and travel.
Lauren and I have shared a friendship, a home and an art studio. Our most noteworthy collaborative exhibition was Infinite Intimate at Red Truck Gallery, New Orleans for which most of these works were created. Lauren has also added an extensive number of tattoos to my body over the years.
