December 17th, 2012-
Home after many months of projects!!!! First time working on an independant film as production & costume designer in Detroit, 'Orion' with Director Asiel Norton,
building installations in Bushwick's Trip House & mirrored pyramids for Roberto Cavalli in NYC, work on The Treasure Nest in Detroit, starting murals on powerhouse's Ride It Skate Park,
collected paper and photos from all over Detroits' ruins for the huge paper quilt I am making for the Oakland Museum that will be shown in the 'Paper Works' show at
The Oakland Airport (Feb 14 - April 26). Also rallying the troops and organizing a big Detroit projects and residency benefit, 'IRON TO GOLD/ ASHES TO HOPE',
which opens for one night in SF on January 4th!!!! .. more details to come!
'The Light Within' is my first fine art print, run in veriy limited edition with The Working Proof!
Also... I gave in and started an instagram (_moreferalthan_). Find project/ interview links and other photos there & on my tumblr.
July 2nd-
I have just moved out of my home, let go of some old treasures, finished a big new body of works for a show in Rome, & am about to be on the road for a few
months on several big adventures!! First a big group of friends- artists, builders and musicians travel cross country together on the Dawn of The Universe Tour!!
We will end up in DC on july 23rd to play a closing performance for 'Home Mender' in Anacostia before it is Deinstalled. We are on the lookout for a permenet home for the
installation.. otherwise Pieces of her will end up being built into permanent projects in Richmond and at The Treasure Nest in Detroit!! ... what is in store after Detroit
who knows?!!! Check into my tumblrs often, as i will be posting updates regularly. When I return to the bay I will rebuild my whole website... mine is just too hard to use
so I have not updated the galleries for quite some time. So many installations and artworks in store for those who can wait. Love from the road!!!
